• Non-surgical first: physiotherapy (glute/hip strength), activity tweaks, medicines; targeted injections in selected cases.
• Hip arthroscopy ("scopy"): for FAI/labral tears/early cartilage issues—can relieve pain and may delay replacement in early disease.
• Joint-preserving surgery: core decompression for early AVN; osteotomy/PAO for dysplasia or malalignment (selected cases).
